Area Attractions

Deadwood was once the lawless gateway to the Wild West, crawling with gold prospectors, gunslingers, and bigger-than-life characters like Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane. Today's Deadwood is a National Historic Landmark, where visitors can follow the footsteps of Wild Bill across downtown's cobblestone streets to his grave at legendary Mount Moriah Cemetary, tour the historic Adams House, or pan for gold in a working gold mine.

The Gold Dust Gaming Complex in Deadwood is a must-see on any Black Hills vacation, and our location is just a short drive to other can't-miss area attractions.
